I was the stop motion animator for Dinner Manners, a Channel 4 Random Acts short film, which was directed by Lucy Linford. The film combined spoken word with live action and stop motion. Set in a family home and a school cafeteria, it depicted how the contents of a child's lunchbox were an indicator of their social standing, showing how poor or affluent the child's family were. I was tasked with bringing to life the food in a child's lunchbox, using real food items to animate with. I animated on the set while the live action elements were being filmed adjacent to my stop motion work station.
